UNDERSTANDING Mental setbacks
When a child forms an image of his as a bad speaker, based on others opinion, finds it hard to overcome, unless he or she blank slates his memory to come up with a better speech, only then he finds his confidence back.
Our thought process, which mostly consists on upbringings and lessons learned while growing up by observing people and developing perceptions from diverse circumstances, shape a critical part of our mental health. While trying to reach to some conclusion in a new arising situation, one is inclined to correlate it with experience.
One should understand that like physics, Reference frame comes here in the picture as well. Someone passing his or her judgement is based on his or her reference frame. You have to consider it right only if it syncs with your reference frame.
