Russia Ukraine war – An ego clash

Today being the fifth day of Russia Ukraine War, and Russian army is on the verge of conquering Kiev. A beautiful country destroyed and Its people forced to pick weapons to protect their country. Two pro Russian Ukraine districts have been declared as an independent country. The ultimate fate of these independent countries are well known to everyone. Like Crimea, it would again be a part of Russia.

Clash of Egos of US and Russia

The plight of masses being killed and getting separated from their loved ones, are not going to get respite even in near future. When politicians play the game, masses loose their lives. Ukraine is a battle ground to discourage and defeat the other power that is Russia by instigating Ukraine and take control of the world by America.

Who is to take the Responsibility for this Russia Ukraine War. US President and NATO countries have the easy Answer. The only one, who can prevent these countries to reacquire the supremacy. Russian President Vladimir Putin, may not have saintly attributes, but how can anyone tolerate a known enemy standing next to the door.

 Volodymyr Zelenskyy, playing the victim and the president of Russia Putin showing the haste to teach lesson, has plenty to blame. along with US and NATO and the fake promises and Russian President being on top of the list.

Mr. Zelensyy, sir, I feel devastated by seeing the present state of such a beautiful country, however, you were so deep in laying groundwork for your acting fantasies, you forgot to take a look on world history.

 1994, Georgia joined the NATO-run Partnership for Peace. presence of Russian forces in Georgian territory resulted in many wars. Georgia, is next to Turkey,a NATO ally.  For Russia, NATO’s eastward expansion was threat.
Russian president Vladimir Putin vowed support and protection to then-unrecognized republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, and even promising to open official Russian representations in the regions

1995, collapse of Yugoslavia,and the reason behind that collapse was militarily intervention by US President Bill Clinton.
2011 Barack Obama intervened in Libya.
1990 George Bush attacked Iraq in the name os mass weapon destruction.

Recent rush shown by US President Biden in moving US force out of Afghanistan without any back up support to Afghan masses, leaving them in complete jeopardy.

Recent Past, Then US President was showing interest in mediating in India Pakistan dispute. This however, was humbly declined with foresightedness of Indian Prime minister stating India’s firm belief in bilateral dialogues.

Ukraine and Russia war is aggravating. As expected, NATO Countries are funding Ukraine and supporting it with arms. It appears to be very humane. But it is a game plan of USA and NATO to reduce the Russian power and take control of the Area.

Ukraine President Mr. Bladimir Zelensky is merely playing in the hands of US and NATO. Assume, a neighboring country allows to build a military base to another country which has always played an aggressive role. What long term impact it will have on a country. Precisely the same situation is, what Russia is facing.

Russian president Mr. Putin and his team were aware of the consequence of this war. The heavy burden on Russian economy is going to take its toll. The after effects of the attack will be huge.

A simple statement, a trust worthy one, was sufficient to avert the War. This Statement that ” Ukraine has no intentions of joining NATO. It only wants to join European Union to boost its trade and economy”, would have brought hope of prosperity and stability to the region.

Many European countries such as Germany has trade relation with Russia. The passage of Gas Pipelines is through Ukraine.
The damage has already been done. May the good sense prevail in both countries and all the differences should be resolved through dialogues.
